Higgsfield AI review: on the Ultra plan, I ran the same prompts on Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.5 and Veo 3.1 and priced every clip in credits and cents.

Higgsfield AI puts several video and image models behind one credit balance, so the question is less what a plan costs and more what each model charges per job. The numbers on this page come from Higgsfield’s pricing page and from the Generate button in my own account, which quotes the price of a job before you run it.
Is Higgsfield AI free?
Yes, but mostly for images. My free account came with 10 credits, though Higgsfield only promises “limited use”, so yours may differ. A Soul 2.0 image costs an eighth of a credit, so 10 credits goes a long way there. You also get one free camera-move effect, and I spent mine on Earth Zoom. The download had no watermark. Text-to-video is where it runs out. I tried Seedance 2.0 Mini, which is quoted at 4 credits, and Higgsfield asked me to upgrade anyway.
What does a Higgsfield clip cost?
It depends on the model, and the quote changes with your plan. On Ultra, a 5-second 720p clip was 10 credits on Kling 3.0, 23 on Seedance 2.0 and 35 on Seedance 2.5. An 8-second Veo 3.1 clip was 80. At Ultra’s $129 a month a credit is about 4.3 cents, so that is roughly 43 cents for the Kling 3.0 clip, $1.50 for Seedance 2.5 and $3.40 for Veo 3.1. Paying yearly, at $99 a month, takes about a quarter off all of those.

Plus and Ultra drop to $47 and $99 a month when you pay yearly, and Starter costs $19 either way. Plan credits reset every month, so an unused month is gone. The full Seedance lineup starts at Plus, while Starter gets Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini. Higgsfield refunds a first purchase within 7 days, but only if you have not spent a credit, so I would decide in the first week.

Dollar figures are the job's credits divided by the plan's monthly allowance, times the plan's monthly price. Annual billing and intro prices are not applied.
These are the quotes the Generate button showed me on Ultra while I ran the same prompts through four video models, between October 5 and 7, 2026. I spent about 2,300 credits and kept 57 clips. The same Kling 3.0 clip jumps from 10 credits to 30 at 4K, and a 15-second Seedance 2.5 clip at 1080p was 180, about $7.70 at the monthly Ultra price. Unlimited mode on Kling 3.0 is sold separately even on Ultra, at $35 a day, $82 for three days or $158 for seven. Refused jobs came back as credits automatically every time.

If you want to see what Higgsfield makes, the free plan is enough for a few Soul 2.0 images and one Earth Zoom clip. A second Earth Zoom run would have cost 35 credits, more than my whole balance. For video you will need to pay.
Which plan I would pick
Plus, if video is the point. It is the first plan with the full Seedance lineup, and 1,200 credits is enough to try ideas without counting every clip. Starter at 270 credits is thin if you want to make video every week. Ultra runs 8 jobs at once against 6 on Plus, and it is the one I would get only if I made video every day. I would not buy Ultra before a month on Plus has actually run out of credits.
